overseen by Ann Dwyer from Culpeper who, if you didn’t sign upon entering, would hunt you down and direct your attention to it. The flowers were done by Sally Keyser. Family information, displays, albums, photos, etc. were liberally set around for everyone’s inspection and benefit toward a clearer understanding of their heritage.
Gifts were given for the following categories, viz: 1) oldest family member, Nina Dwyer Grimes aged 85; 2) longest married couple, Clyde . and Lillie Pullen at 63 years; 3) youngest family member, John Michael Mathes; 4) coming the longest distance, Robert and Donna Peterson from San Diego, California; 5)family with most generations present, Lorene C. Dwyer with four generations.
Items in our raffle included, a table made by Jeff Dwyer, a hand braided rug made by Lillie Pullen and donated by Wayne Baldwin, framed patch work with picture by Debbie Keyser, Ned Johnson’s History of Rappahannock, and a garden
