Reception planned for Brooks

A reception and fund raiser will be held for Cornell Brooks, Democratic candidate for Congress from the 10th District on Monday, Aug. 24 from 6 p.nv. until 9 p.m. at Linden Vineyards. Epiphany School orientation

Epiphany Catholic School, an interparish school serving the counties of Madison, Orange, Rappahannock and Culpeper located at Precious Blood Church announces its orientation days for the 1998-99 school year. Preschool, kindergarten and first through fourth grade programs are offered at Epiphany. Dates scheduled include: Orientation Day for grades K-4, Friday, Aug. 28 from 9 a m. to 12 noon; First day of school for grades K-4, Monday, Aug 31Preschool Orientation days, Sept. 2 and 3; No school Monday, Sept. 7; First Day for preschool Tuesday, Sept. 8.

House tour dates set

The annual Rappahannock House Tour and Dried Flower Sale sponsored by the Trinity Episcopal Church will be held Oct. 17 and 18.
