In addition to the live performances it presents, The Theatre has long been the venue for the film series presented by the Rappahannock Association for Arts and the Community, Films will he shown on two Fridays each month.
The Theatre’s audiences are primarily composed of people who live close by, in Rappahannock and in the adjacent counties of Fauquier, Culpeper and Madison. In addition, The Theatre draws visitors who come from farther afield, from all parts of the D.C. metropolitan region, and beyond. Visitors often combine a performance at The Theatre with savoring the culinary delights to be found at inns and restaurants in the vicinity, or a stay at a local B&B, or simply a tour of the historic Town of Washington and the surrounding mountains of the Blue Ridge.
