Liet s look at tne current secondary road improvement projects. They are listed in priority ordeF, with zeroseries at the top. The asterisks indicate that part of a gravel road is being paved. Also note the use of a twopart effort for the construction of any new bridge. The first part deals with putting in new approaches to the bridge; the second part with the construction of the bridge itself, but one project number is used to cover both efforts.
Of the over-all total of 36 projects (five zero-series, plus the 31 others), 44 percent deal with the paving of 14.89 miles of gravel road, 31 percent with improving curves, sight distances, etc., 19 percent with the construction of seven new bridges and six percent with the preparation of plans for two flood control efforts. Specific detail on each project ip available at the library.
