Band Booster to meet
The Rappahannock Band Boosters will meet on Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School Library. The public is invited.

Thursday, Sept. 10: Training for “Rapid Watershed Assessment” as part of upcoming Upper Rappahannock Tributary “Tburs” with Friends of the Rappahannock and Ragged Mountain Resource Center, meet at Rappahannock Library from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12: Second Saturday Hike Series with P.E.C. Board Member and Ragged Mountain Resource Center Director Hunt Harris. Robinson River headwaters in Shenandoah National Park, Cedar Run/White Oak Canyon loop, bring food for self and suitable clothing for weather of the day and possible swimming. Must have SNP pass or pay $5 fee at entry.
Classmates to reunite
The graduating Rappahannock High School class of 1958 is holding a 40th year reunion on Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Child Care and Learning Center Picnic Shelter on U.S. 211 near Washington. Also invited are alumni from 1953-1963 classes, as well as current and former teachers and principals. For information call 636-6003 or 937-4470.
