Our community is saddened by the loss of Mrs. Doris Jennings who passed away on Saturday, Sept. 5, one day after her 102nd birthday. Her family had planned an open house for family and friends to drop in with their well wishes and to visit with Mrs. Jennings’ 100 year old sister, Miss Lilia Tolbert. We extend our deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
The Rappahannock Parent/Teacher Organization is scheduled to meet on Sept. 9 in the Rappahannock County Elementary School’s library at 7 p.m. All teachers and parents are invited to attend and be involved.
