The Crisis Pregnancy Center is a Christian organization offering help to young, unwed women through pregnancy tests, peer counseling, fetal development, and abortion education. Local offices are available in Warrenton and Culpeper. If you or someone you know would like to speak with a volunteer counselor, you may contact the Warrenton office at 347-7770 or the Culpeper office at 7270800. The centers are nonprofit and all services are free and confidential.
On Saturday, Jan. 23 the Rappahannock office of the Virginia Cooperative Extension will hold a Super Sitters workshop for 4-H members 12 years old and older. The class will provide information for would-be baby sitters and will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. A small fee will be collected for the training books. *To register call Hazel Zinn-Day at 675-3619.
