Bland Music
contest slated
The annual Rappahannock County student music competition is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28 at The Theatre in Washington.
This musical event is sponsored every year by the local Lions Club and is part of a statewide program dedicated to encouraging young vocal and instrumental musicians to develop personal skills and express their talents.
As in past years, cash awards to the winners and certificates of participation to all students who perform will be contributed by the Lions Club. Official registration * forms are available from any Rappahannock Lion, music teachers or at the Rappahannock Library.
