Hospice of the Rapidan provides skilled medical care, social services, volunteer support, and bereavement counseling to residents of Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, Rappahannock and surrounding counties. _ Hospice of the Rapidan is certified by Medicare and Medicaid, and most private insurance companies provide some reimbursement for hospicte care. Contributions from the community make it possible for Hospice of the Rapidan to care for patients with little or" no source of reimbursement, so community fund raising efforts like Adventures in Dining are crucial to its mission.
