Mrs. Young was a registered nurse, having attended nursing training in Washington, D.C. She had been a resident of Arlington since 1950.
Survivors include two sons, David Young of Aydlett, N.C. and Joseph H. Young of Arlington; a sister, Grace Gagner of Springfield and one brother, Charles Dwyer of Woodbridge.
Funeral services were conducted at Mountcastle Funeral Home in Dale City on Jan. 29 by Rev. Sharon Core.
Burial was at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle.

Retired, teacher
Libby Nachimowsky Silver, 87, of Washington died Jan. 25 at her residence.
She was born Nov. 24,1911 in New York, N.Y., a daughter of Hyman and Sophie Zirinsky Nachimowsky. Her husband was the late Isaac Silver.
Mrs. Silver was a retired teacher.
Survivors include one daughter Bette Mahoney of Washington; two sons, Nathan Silver of London, England and Robert H. Silver of Newton, Mass.; a brother Bernard Nash of New York; a sister, Leah Furst of New Jersey and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 4 at
