Rappahannock County had the lowest percentage in the region of new homes constructed during 1970 to 2000. In Fauquier County, 65.6 percent of all homes were built during this period. The percentages for the other surrounding counties were Culpeper, 62.7 percent; Madison, 58.2 percent; Warren, 57.0 percent; and Page, 51.6 percent.
