“Community is something that is sacred, irreplaceable and should be applauded,” he said.
In an attempt to capture this and to bring joy to those around him, Tepper spent the past eight months working on his sketches.
The process was not simple. First, Tepper walked through the villages, photographing homes which he hoped to include. In some cases, such as Washington where he said 55 buildings were included, this involved several trips to ensure that the homes were photographed in a favorable light.
