Hoadley’s writing and photography, as well as articles about him, have appeared in national and international magazines, newspapers and television, including Scientific American, Time-Life Books, USA Today, and Weatherwise. He has made television appearances on National Geographic Explorer, ABC’s Day One, Granada Television (U.K.) and local programs.
He and dozens of other chasers have freely contributed slides and video tape to the National Weather Service for training community spotters to recognize dangerous clouds and give early warnings.
