Tepper

From Page B1

Then the pictures had to be sketched and organized in a manner in keeping with the villages actual form. Again, he said this presented a challenge, this time in the case of Sperryville where he needed to incorporate both a river running through town as well as its many roads.

Each village was also placed inside a border he created which he felt was in keeping with the particular town’s feel. For example, Amissville, which is bisected by the highly traveled Route 211 is surrounded by a circle which he said is reminiscent of its traffic. Meanwhile Woodville’s sketch is nestled inside a border similar to the town’s sign.

The final product, Ifepper said, is a series of note cards which he hopes to sell locally. These cards have a sketch of the village on the front with historical information on the back.

For now, businesses interested in carrying the note cards and residents who wish to purchase a set, may call 987-9876.
