The Lions Clubs of District 24-A recently elected Bill Jones of New Baltimore as its District Governor for Lions year 2003-2004.

Virginia is divided into six Lions Districts. Each district elects its District Governor. The six District Governors make up the Council of Governors for the state of Virginia. His fellow District Governors elected Jones Vice Chair of the Council of Governors.

District 24-A is made up of 11 counties. This area includes all of Northern Virginia as well as the Colonial Beach, Culpeper, and Rappahannock County areas. There are 71 Lions Clubs, two Lioness Clubs, and 10 Leo Clubs in this district.
