DeBergh told the council he bought the annex to develop into offices for either his company or to rent to others.
DeBergh bought the property from CCLC and wanted to have the same special use permit that it possessed. But Renate Chapman of CCLC told the council she was concerned that some time in the future the building might be used for a purpose inappropriate to the child care facility. She wanted the permit limited to “professional offices only.” The council agreed. The property has no limitations on hours or cars.
