Now this has been a real winter this past week, the kind I remember as a child.
I remember it as the time my family had more time together. We had no television so we Listened to the radio. We played board games, cards, learned how-to-projects such as sewing, helped our Dad feed the animals, planned our garden for the next season, talked, read and simply enjoyed being and doing things together.
These days it takes this kind of weather to bring us together more often than vacations. I know that a lot of people do not enjoy this time of year and I know it is justified, but
