that is in fine condition. I often walk this section of road. I can see no reason to tar and chip it especially when the money could be more wisely spent on other more pressing issues. Tar and chipping will only increase driving speed (as evidenced by the fact that people already drive faster through the “S" turn since it was tar and chipped). It will also increase the use of this road as a cut through, not to mention making it more inviting to the already problematic motorcyclists who visit this county on the weekends.
Grimsley Road is best left as it is and I would like the Board of Supervisors, as per the request of the majority of its residents, to reverse its decision and remove Grimsley Road from the six-year plan.
