PROPOSAL TO CLEAN UP AN UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK SITE

There has been a release from an underground storage tank at Chester Gap Baptist Church, 41 Waterfall Road, Chester Gap, Virginia The Virginia Department of Environmental Quaity (DEQ) is requiring Chester Gap Baptist Church to develop a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for heating oil contamination at the site. The CAP will be submitted to the Northern Regional Office of the DEQ on February 2, 2004. If you would like to review or discuss the proposed CAP with the staff of the DEQ, please feel free to contact Randy Chapman (703-5833816) after the date of the' CAP submittal. The DEQ Northern Regional Office will consider written comments regarding the proposed CAP until March 2. 2004 and may decide to hold a public meeting if there is significant public interest. Written comments should be sent to the DEQ at the address listed below. The DEQ requests that all written comments reference the tracking number for this case: PC#2003-3045.
