William Roop, son of Charles and Patricia Roop of Bassett,Va., took place last Oct. 18 at Amiss'nlle United Methodist Church.

The Rev. John Haynes and the Rev. Jon Heddleston performed the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, Thomas Taylor, the bride wore a Demetrios gown. The dress was white satin with a scooped neckline having a scalloped edge and long lace bell sleeves that were accented with pearls. A chapel length detachable train with lace and pearls as well as a rhinestone tiara with fingertip veil trimmed in rhinestones completed the ensemble. The bouquet consisted of white roses, carnations and white heather with ivy accents.

Mandolyn Ashby of Amissville and Megan Scanlon of Manassas were the Maids of Honor. They wore indigo, sleeveless A-line style dresses and carried bouquets of white roses with indigo highlighted flora.

Bridesmaids were Amy Brandow of Virginia Beach, Amanda White of Franklin,Va., Anna Meadows of Louisa, VafMeaghan Fonash of Sterling, Va., Julia Hazel 6f Broad Run, Va., Ashlyn Paul of Amissville, and Jodie Thylor of Sperryville. Their dresses and bouquets matched the Maids of Honor.

Best men were Scott Fulcher and Shane Keatts both of Bassett.

Ushers were Joe Helms and Justin Helms of Martinsville,
