Lily Mae Fincham

Lily Mae Thomas Fincham, 80, of Sperryville died Jan. 17 at Warrenton Overlook Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1923 in Rappahannock County to the late William J. Thomas and Virgie Baker Thomas.
Mrs. Fincham was a member of Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee William Fincham, and three brothers, Billy Thomas, Roy Thomas and James Thomas.
Mrs. Fincham is survived by one son, Robert Lee Fincham of Sperryville; three daughters* Doris Jenkins and Helen Atkins from Sperryville, and Sandra K. Graves from Boston; and three children she raised as her own, Betty Costello Thomas, Mary Costello Smith and Joyce Hitt Ralls.
Additional survivors include one brother, Bobby Lewis Thomas and one sister, Betty Thomas Wean, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held Jan. 20 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kirby Shenk officiating. Interment followed in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
