After reading your article,
“Why supervisors voted to pave road,” in the Dec. 18 edition of the Rappahannock News ,1 decided it was time I wrote a letter to the editor.
I reside on Grimsley Road at the top of the dangerous “S” turn on the adjoining property to the Newlins. I was out of town for the Board of Supervisors’ meeting but voiced my opinion not to include Grimsley Road in the six-year plan by letter.
The supervisors are misinformed if they think that Grimsley Road is not used as a short cut. Last year I was driving north on Grimsley Road when another vehicle traveling south took the mirror off my truck. I had pulled to the side as much as I could but since we were both .driving pickups there wasn’t much room to spare. He did not slow down as he
