The RCHS Quiz Bowl team traveled to Clarke County High School for a quad match versus George Mason, Strasburg, and Clarke on Jan. 5.
With the combination of the long holiday break and the bye week before that, the team had a rocky start in the first match with Mason. In this match Nathan Welch was team captain, assisted by seniors Julia Baumgardner and Glen Swain, and Anna Kreyling, a junior.
After round one, the score was Mason 55, Panthers 20,
