Family in Sperryville

Dorothy Jane Thompson, 86, of Stephens City died Jan. 15 at Prince William Hospital in Manassas.

Mrs. Thompson was born May 1, 1917 to the late Lillian Esschen and Clarence Harding of Illinois.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond F. TTiompson, Sr.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by one daughter, Judith Ratliff of Stephens City and one son, Raymond F. Thompson, Jr. of Sperryville.

Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held Jan. 20 at Money and King Funeral Home in Vienna with Rev. Jennings Hobson III officiating. Interment followed in National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Va.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital in Washington D. C.

Edna Earl Brown, 89, of Hume, Va., died Jan. 12 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.

Mrs. Brown was born Sept. 2, 1914 in Flint Hill.
