Association Spring 2008 registration

Rappahannock County Soccer Association Spring 2008 registration is underway. The website, www.rappsoccer.com is accepting registrations through Feb.23 with late registration through March 7, with an additional fee. Mail in registration forms will be available at the Rappahannock Elementary School Office for those without online access through Feb. 15 and must be postmarked by Feb. 20 to ensure placement on a team. If you would like to help out and coach a team please designate that on the volunteer portion of the form. Performance Art Class Series

A Performance Art Class Series will be given at Hearthstone School to enable students to explore creativity using sound, movement and story. Dance, music and drama techniques will be taught in a holistic manner. Students will create a performance piece to share with family and friends at the end of the school year.

Wednesdays 3:30-4:15 p.m. for 4-6-year olds and 4:30-5:30 p.m. for 11-12-year-olds and teens

Thursdays 4-5 p.m. for 7-10-year-olds. Classes being Jan. 30 and 31. New students may join the following week. Cost: $10 per class Instructors: Kitty Keyser, Frances Miller and Linda Orfila

Come and enjoy local musical talent this weekend at Rae's Place in Sperryville. Retro, Classic Rock, Reggae, Rhythm and Blues music for all to enjoy. Friday, Feb. 8 line up includes Rhythm Method, Smiggy, Bill Abernathy, Johnny Pierce, Dontez Harris and more. Doors open at 8 p.m., with music and drink from 9 close.
