The people of

Rappahannock —

those of voting age anyway - have a record to shoot for. In the last general election, in 2006, Rappahannock was third (65.1%) behind only Goochland (66.2%) and Falls Church (66.4%) in the entire Commonwealth in the proportion of eligible voters who turned out to cast a ballot. Rappahannock has a chance, next Tuesday, to knock Falls Church off that lofty perch and become the one county in all of Virginia with the greatest sense of civic participation.
