The Smithsonian Chamber Players were established in 1976 ns one of America's premier period-instrument ensembles. The musicians coming to the Theatre for this concert are ail founding members of the Players dames Weaver, while at the Smithsonian, established a comprehensive series of historically informed performances which have gained international prestige.
