The Rappahannock contest was featured in the May 2007 edition of, “The Lion”, the official Lion Clubs International magazine. The article, “American Idol-Lions' Style", was written hy county resident, Jed 4 Duvall, and featured pictures <by Lili Duvall» and interviews with last years’ contestants. This magazine is distributed world wide. The Rappahannock Lions Club presented commemorative copies to each participant and to each school in the county.
