Fighting Fraud

is Only a Click Away

insurance fraud may be as old as the insurance industry itself, but it's no match for 21st century technology. If you think FaceBook, MySpace and YouTube are just for the kids, think again.

"insurance fraud is like a virus, spreading throughout the economy" says Col. Flaherty, explaining why IFP added viral marketing to its fraud-fighting toolbox. The IFP is enlisting the help of social networking sites to spread its message.

The iFP's 'Stamp Out Fraud' page on Face Book welcomes new members to its fraud-fighting cyber community. A collection of short videos on YouTube is designed to raise public awareness about the problem. (Visit the Program's established website - www.stampoutfraud.com - for quick and easy links.)
