NOTICE OF VACANCIES BOARD OF ASSESSORS COUNTY OF RAPPAHANNOCK The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting applicants to fill five positions on the Rappahannock County Board of Assessors. Members of the Board will be an integral part of the General Property Reassessment of Rappahannock County of 2009, and shall be compensated at $50.00 per day for each day they serve. In accordance with §58.1-3276 of the Code of Virginia 1950, as amended, appointees shall be freeholders of Rappahannock County and shall be appointed by the governing body. In order to be eligible for appointment, each prospective member of such board may be required to attend and participate in the basic course of instruction given by the Department of Taxation under §58.1-206. Those appointed will be required to complete the State required Financial Disclosure form.
