The idea is to raise money tor those who are challenged by severe circumstances such as medical expenses, loss of property, persons threatened with risk of foreclosure and other situations arising out of catastrophic events. It is a natural progression tor 88 year old owner James D. Russell to use his property named “Pleasant View Acres’’ tor the good of the community. This will complete the journey of the rich history of his land detailed in his KhTs “Beyond the Rim,” “The Resting Rock," and “Felicia.” Tire property located at 892 Woodward Road, Sperryville, Virginia is not only home to Mr. Russell, but also the home of a model rail line reaching 260 feet in length, a small conductor’s watch house and train depot. Found next to the model railroad is the new wheelchair accessible comfort station that resembles a train station. You help is needed to make this dream come true for Mr. Russell and for the people of our community.
