Times Community News and the Maryland-based Gazette newspaper group announced May 27 that the 40-year-old Fairfax County Times has been sold to the Gazette, a division of The Washington Post Co. _Under a recent agreement between the two Washington-area media companies, Times Community New's, owned by Arundel Communications, will sell the 125,000 circulation Fairfax County Times newspaper and its online Web site to the Post subsidiary, the Community Newspaper Group of PostNewsweek Media Inc., effective June 1.
