Out of the Attic
Haymaking is a family affair on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall Clark near Sperryville. Shirley Clark drives the tractor and rakes the hay into windrows: then the pickup baler comes along behind, picks up the hay. bales it and tosses it into the wagon. Mr. Clark says Shirley has gotten pretty good at the job and has been doing the raking for a year or two. (This photo and caption ran in the July 17, 1969 edition of the Rappahannock News.)
