Loudoun County Parks, Recreation, Community Services is seeking qualified applicants for Division Manager in Parks Division, Leesburg. VA. Position oversees facilities, grounds, service delivery programs and budgets for regional parks, a sportsplex, ball fields, swimming pool, performing arts center, farm museum and the County s first full-service Recreation Center, which is a revenue neutral facility. Park system provides a broad range of year round recreational, educational, social, cultural programs and activities Position supervises and evaluates work of a large staff of professionals representing diverse specialized knowledge areas, providing leadership and direction of service consistent with depart ment objectives. Serves as County liaison to various advisory groups, committees and organizations. Manages public relations and customer service. Masters degree in recreation, leisure ser vices or related field and 4 years of experience which must include at least 2 years of supervisory experience managing a dynamic staff. Strongly prefer a diverse recreation background including experience managing budgets, programs, staff, facilities and deveL opment of management, maintenance and service plans. Previous contract management experience desired Valid driver's license required.
