Budget issues
Virginia Guv Tim Kaine announced last ; week an additional budget shortfall of $1.5 million bringing into question no “if,” but “when." the state would further reduce funding to schools.

Swine Flu

The plan outlines prevention measures - such as washing hands and covering mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing - but also gives details should the schools be closed due to an outbreak.
It urges students and staff to stay home should they exhibit any symptoms which include fever, cough, sore throat, aches, headache, chills and fatigue,
