Stanley Marvin Dye
Stanley Marvin Dye, 73, passed away Monday, August 17, 2009 in Ocracoke, NC. Bom in Fairfax County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Ralph and Mary Norfolk Dye. He worked for the Department of Agriculture in Virginia and was active in the Masonic Lodge of Annandale, VA, the NRA and was a certified Foster Parent. He leaves his wife, Patricia Ann Dye, of the residence.
Mr. Dye is also survived by his two daughters, Tteresa Ann Curtis of Orlean, VA and Katherine Stewart of Amissville, VA, five sons, Coy Dye and David Dye, both of Amissville, VA, Barry Steven Dye of California, Mark Dye of West Virginia, and William F. Johnson, Jr. of Culpeper, and one sister, Sandy Bertsch also of West Virginia.
Mr. Dye is also survived by his 14 Grandchildren, 5 GreatGrandchildren, and one goddaughter, Alicia Reba Burns, who will all cherish his memory.
A Memorial Service will be held at Amissville United Methodist Church in Amissville, VA, on Saturday August 29,2009 at 1:00 pm.
