SUPERVISING CLINICIAN
Loudoun County's Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation, Substance Abuse Services is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Emergency Services Clinician to work on a multi-disciplinary 24 hour MH/SA Emergency Services Team. In addition to supervisory and management experience, must have thorough knowledge of. and experience in. Mental Health and Substance Abuse diagnosis and crisis intervention/stabilization modalities. Duties involve telephone and face to face client interactions at the Mental Health Center and at various sites within Loudoun County, working closely with courts, law enforcement, and other agencies, supervision of clinical staff, and sub-program management. After hours work is conducted from employee s home and designated sites within Loudoun County. Work schedule includes some overnight and weekend hours. Must be able to travel from home to closest Emergency Room in Loudoun County within 30 minutes iassuming favorable road and weather conditions). Requires a Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology. Counseling, Nursing, or a related field with a minimum of one year professional experience in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment and a minimum of one year supervisory experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish) highly desirable. Two years post Masters clinical experience in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment is preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish highly desirable. Virginia clinical licensure or license eligible. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, driving record check, and TB test.
