Picnic
Despite heavy rains Saturday afternoon, the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community's Summer Picnic came oft successfully having relocated to the RAAC Community Theatre on Gay Street in Washington Some 65 supporters showed up for food and entertainment by the folksy Homemade Jam band. The event also served the purpose of enrolling volunteers to participate in programs, workshops, dances, concerts, theatre performances, the RAAC film series, school events, and the Annual Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour scheduled for Nov. 7-8.
