RNB reaching out
Sharon Woodward and Kelly Settle of The Rappahannock National Bank stopped by The Food Pantry to offer the bank’s help with Thanksgiving dinners. The bank will provide the fixings for about a quarter of The Food Pantry’s families.
The bank also will have boxes in its lobby for donations of stuffing, instant potatoes, and canned green beans, com, sweet potatoes, turkey gravy, and fruit cocktail according to Kathy Eggers, volunteer coordinator for the pantry.
The Pantry needs volunteers on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 9 a m. - 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23 from 9 a m. - 5 p.m., and Tuesday, Nov. 24 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., to package and distribute turkeys and Thanksgiving boxes at The Pantry.
