The final opportunity to sot* Rappahannock in Bull Run District play is tonight.
The Rappahannock CountyHigh Schtxil volleyball Panthers traveled to George Mason Oct. 27' results in next week's paper i and host Madison County for the final home game tonight.
Last week saw the Panthers on the court for two home games against tough Bull Run District opponents.
The varsity Lady Panthers fell to Strasburg 1-3 and subsequently to Clarke County 1-3, a disappointing week in their record book The junior varsityteam split the week with a 2-0 loss to Strasburg and a 2-1 triumph over Clarke County.

In Tuesday's game, the JV Panthers fought diligently against Strasburg They lost in two game's with scores of 18-25 and 20-25. Notable highlights of the games came from eighth grader Maddie Kopjanski with her perfect serving. She racked up 10 points for her team. In addition, Kaitlyn Jenkins smacked down some outstanding kills. Despite the team’s loss. Coach Jimmie Swindler reported, “The hitting , was the best and most powerful it has been all season long."
In an exciting Dig Pink game on Thursday- night, the girls participated in a breast cancer awareness rally that was being held nationally throughout the month of October. Hundreds of high schools and colleges sponsored matches to help educate and raise research funds for a cure.
