Workshops sponsored by Virginia Cooperative Extension, Fauquier County Agriculture Development Department, Virginia Tech, Piedmont Environmental Council, Flavor Magazine, Fauquier County Farm Bureau, the Local Food Project at Airlie, Airiie Foundation and the Virginia Foundation for Agriculture Innovation and Rural Sustainability, at Airlie Conference Center to Strengthen Virginia’s Agriculture & Foodbased Businesses, 9 a.m., to 4 p.m. The cost to attend one of these workshops is $40 while the cost to attend both is $80. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and space is limited to the first 50 individuals who register. Walk-in registrations will be considered if capacity allows. Orders and payment must be received by Tuesday, Nov. 17 and pies will be available for pick-up on Monday, Nov. 23 at RCHS Room 1 between noon and 3:30 p.m., Nov. 24, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The following 10’ pies & cheesecakes are available at the cost of $10 for pumpkin pie, $15 pecan pie, $12 apple pie and $24 for pumpkin cheesecake.
