Closings
The Rappahannock County Sanitary Landfill will be closed to the public all day Thanksgiving Day (November 26). It will also close at noon on Christmas Eve (December 24) and noon on New Year's Eve (December 31). and all day Christmas Day (December 25) and New Year's Day (January 1). All other days during the holiday season will have normal hours of operation (Monday through Saturday 7:30-5:30; closed Sunday). The Flatwood Refuse & Recycling Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. It will also close at noon on Christmas Eve and noon on New Year's Eve. and all day Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Regular hours are Wednesday and Thursday 7:00-7:00, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9:00-7:00; closed Monday and Tuesday.
