Ethan Gould of Washington Virginia Boy Scout Troop 36 was presented the rank of Eagle Scout on Nov. 8.

The Eagle Court of Honor was conducted at St. John’s Catholic Church in Warrenton. Ethan has been a member of Scout Troop 36 for five years. His Eagle project provided 14 Stations Of The Cross for the St. John’s Garden.

Ethan raised over $5,000 and organized materials and labor to build and install the stations. Over 200 hours of work were put into the project by Ethan, fellow scouts, parents and adult scout leaders. Ethan has remained involved with Troop 36 as an Assistant Scoutmaster and will stay with the troop as long as he remains in the area.
