the bread, deli meat, cheese, and two of the soups. Tomato tortellini soup was a big hit said volunteer and chef Sylvie Rowand. Some visitors sat at the tables outside - a convenient spot to spread their tour maps - and plot their course before visiting the open artists’ studios, and others took a lunch box with them.
WVFR is delighted that both out-of-countv visitors and residents stopped by for a snack or for a full lunch each day of the tour.
The volunteers thank everybody for their patronage and estimate that, in addition to snacks and beverages, they served about 75 lunches, netting approximately $600. All proceeds benefit the ^WFR and are used for its operations or needed equipment.
Sympathy
Sympathy goes out to Judge Paul Brown’s family. Judge Brown from Washington passed away on Friday, Nov. 6. There was a memorial service for him at Trinity Church on Tuesday.
