Because he is both a professional polo player and a lymphoma survivor, Charles Muldoon, who does promotional work for Morven Park, was asked by Tareq Salahi to help organize the inaugural America’s Cup Polo match at the park near Leesburg in 2007.
He was hoping to generate some good publicity for the park, at which he was successful. and to raise money for lymphoma research through Journey for the Cure.
"Journey for the Cure,” he said, “is Tareq Salahi's personal chanty; which I did not know at the time,” Muldoon said.
From his close-up encounter with it, Muldoon has concluded that Journey for the Cure has serious problems.
Not only did virtually no money go to cancer research, he claimed, but many of those who participated in the event were not paid for their work, for the supplies they had to purchase, for their time and effort Salahi. Muldoon claims, even went so far as to stiff the local civic club that provided for parking cars.
