All of them are voluntary. The VFBF and some local farmers wony that if the EPA starts enforcing a standards-based water quality program in the bay, fencing cattle out of streams would no longer be a matter of choice.
“My neighbor across the river has told me that if she is forced to fence the streams on her property, she will just develop it and move to Florida,” said longtime Viewtown farmer and Supervisor-elect Chris Parrish.
