By Jenny Kapsa Special to the Rappahannock News

Good music, good food, and a spirit of community was enjoyed by all at this year’s fourth annual Chili Cook-off and Bluegrass Festival Nov. 15 hosted by the Rappahannock County 4-H Livestock Club.

Bluegrass bands “Five of a Kind" and the “Courtney Hollow Band" played toe-tapping music in the Rappahannock County High School auditorium.

The chili contestants set up their booths in the “commons” area of the high school where this year there were three chili contestants: Kevin Day, Peter Kramer, and Jenny Kapsa.

Peter Kramer came in first place with the best chili.
