the VFBF has said, that agriculture is being unfairly blamed for the water-quality problems likely to result when residential and commercial development grows in the sort of steep curve seen over the last century in the Chesapeake watershed - which, after all, includes the extended metropolitan areas of Richmond, Washington and Baltimore.
One of them is Mike Massie - a former Rappahannock supervisor and Planning Commission member whose family has farmed the thousand or so acres where U.S. routes 211 and 522 meet - a Comer known as Massies - for going on five generations now.
