The lights which adorn the tree in the bank lobby have been dedicated in memory or in honor of someone special who has made a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
The was the second year for the bank to host the celebration.
Hospice volunteer Kelly Jo Settle, executive administrative assistant, and her bank co-workers went out of their way to decorate the tree in beautiful ornaments of silver and teal blue with six blue dolphins, the symbol for Hospice of the Rapidan.

The musical selection was by Rev. Jon Heddleston, pastor of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville, along with David’s Heart Praise Team.
Jo-an Getsinger, mistress of ceremonies, introduced special guests, Kathy Clements, Executive Director, Hospice of the Rapidan, and Michael T. Leake, president and CEO of the bank.
The bank, presented a check in the amount of $500 to Hospice of the Rapidan.
A holiday message was given by the Rev. Phil Bailey, pastor of the Washington Baptist Church.
Lighting of the tree was by David Semmes, husband of Dudley Semmes, a former Hospice of the Rapidan patient.
Everyone enjoyed complimentary refreshments from local businesses and individuals.
