Clarence Michael Bussinger. for mer Farmville High Scliool prin cipal and current superintendent of Amelia and Nottoway county schools, Tuesday was named Lou don county school superintendent. The 54-vear-old Charlottesville native will succeed O L. Emrick. who will retire July 1 after 40 years of service. Bussinger's ap pointment is effective July 1. when his term as Amelia and Not toway superintendent expires. At Loudon iris salary and trav el expenses will be $8,300 a year Both Amelia and Nottoway county boards have requested sep aration of their schools into single county districts. No action on a successor for Bussinger is expect ed to be taken until the state board of education rules on tlje division.
